FULL (35-40hrs) AND PART TIME (15-30hrs)
FUN ENGINEERS:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Working as part of the Revelry Goods team to build out and install custom party decorations and art installations. You will participate in the build out using various materials (balloons, fringe, paper, wood, paint, foam sculpting, fabric and other materials) to build custom pieces. You will be part of our install team in going out to various locations in and around Houston to install decor. You will deliver small drop off orders driving the company vehicle, and will also take part in driving box trucks to install sites. Other duties may include, supply runs, cleaning/organizing the studio space, and dance breaks. This position's hours are heavy on the weekend and you will need to be available to work most weekends. The hours vary. We typically work in the 9am-5pm realm, but on install days we can start as early as 4am and there are some evening shifts that can end as late as 2am. This job will be very fun and playful, but it is very laborious and fast paced.
REQUIREMENTS:
- An artistic eye and/or artistic skills will be highly valued
- Need to be comfortable in a fast paced work environment
- Take constructive criticism well
- Friendly people skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Must be able to climb ladders/ use lifts (up to 20ft)
- Must, must, must have a strong silly bone and not take things too serious...we're here to have fun
